Emily Provance serves the Malone University community as Director of Human Resources.

 

Prior to coming to Malone, she served as the human resources director at Stark County Mental Health and Addiction Resources. She previously worked for Sandy Valley Local Schools and brings more than 25 

years of experience to her role. 

 

Provance has been responsible for planning, implementing, and managing a wide range of projects and programs including: workforce planning; building inclusive, empathic workplaces; employee engagement and retention; performance management; training, education, and development; recruiting; onboarding; succession planning; and strategic planning.

 

She earned her undergraduate degree from Marietta College where she was a McDonough Leadership Scholar. Provance went on to earn a master’s degree in administration from the University of Akron. She and her husband, Grant, live in Bolivar and have one son, Gage.
