Student Life at Malone University

Experience

From the day Malone was founded in 1892, strong community has been a core value for daily life. In fact, Malone was strategically positioned in the heart of Canton in 1957, so the University community could serve Stark County on a deeper level. From your very first day at Orientation, you'll be invited to roll up your sleeves and serve in the community while building new friendships.

Malone’s location also comes with perks! Not only will you have access to the city of Canton, but you also will benefit from a bustle of activity around greater Northeast Ohio—including the metropolitan areas of Cleveland and Akron. Whether your hobbies include outdoor recreation, the arts, history, or culture, you won’t be lacking for places to explore.

Life on campus is full of memories to be made. Annual traditions like the Davenport Derby (couch races) and Airband (lip sync competition) are highlights each year. With more than 65 student organizations, you will be able to quickly find your niche on campus. "Dorms" here are more than a place to sleep, and the dining facilities offer a wide variety of tasty menu items. Unique spaces like Emma’s and Bennett Lounge make campus feel like home. Theatre productions, concerts, and athletic competitions are always ready for a student cheering section.

A vibrant campus life and connection to the offerings in Northeast Ohio offer Malone students the best of both worlds: a fun and safe space to grow, with plenty of adventures along the way.
