Victoria's Story

Ready to set herself apart in the workplace and move on to the next level of management, Victoria Branham made the decision to pursue her MBA.

Her husband Ricky had attended Malone University for his undergraduate degree and had a great experience. Branham knew that Malone’s Master of Business Administration program would provide her with the knowledge and skills necessary to accomplish her goals.

The couple had similar goals, so they enrolled in the MBA program together. This gave them a tremendous support system and they kept each other motivated even when life got crazy.

Each other's support came in handy when they were blessed with great news.

“Two weeks into the program we found out we were pregnant with our daughter, Vera, and I was working 12 hour shifts,” said Branham. “I prayed and trusted the Lord that He would see me through - and that He did.”

Juggling two small children, a newborn, a full-time job, and life itself made it a challenge to complete the program. Branham was thankful that the MBA program was offered fully online because she was able to complete her degree while still keeping up with everything else.

“I wanted to obtain my MBA so that I could continue to advance at my workplace, and I was fully supported by Pepperidge Farm,” said Branham. “One month before graduating with my MBA, I was promoted from supervisor to operations warehouse Manager.”

And after graduation, Branham met even more success in the workplace.

“I worked in that position for over a year and was recently promoted again to a staff level position as the Manager of Planning and Distribution,” said Branham. “I am now in charge of all of the warehousing at Willard Pepperidge Farm, which is the largest warehousing system in all of Pepperidge Farm.”
