Application Requirements

To help make your transition to Malone as simple as possible, please submit the following information:

1. An online application
2. Official transcripts from all colleges attended (For students with fewer than 30 transferable credits we may request additional information, such as a high school transcript or standardized test scores.)

Guidelines for transferring credits

• Coursework at other regionally-accredited institutions, for which you have earned a grade of C or better, will usually be accepted as transfer credit
• Grade point average (GPA) does not transfer. However, a GPA for all coursework within the major (including transfer courses) will be calculated.
• Transfer credits will be posted to your permanent transcript after you have completed at least 15 credit hours at Malone with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Once accepted to Malone, you will receive an official transfer credit evaluation tailored to your chosen area of study. To graduate, you must complete at least 30 credit hours at Malone, including at least 12 hours in your major. Additional information about transfer policies can be found in the academic catalog.

Fast Pass to Success - Students who have earned an AA, AS, BA or BS will have all but three general education requirements waived, making your way to graduation simpler!
