“Music has given me a creative outlet,” said Wyse. “And in the communities I’ve served, it’s an opportunity for me to give back in a manner that has nothing to do with my day job. I can share my musical gifts which provides an additional connection for me.” LaMar has been a donor to the Malone Fund and the Steinway component of the A Bolder Vision campaign. “I’ve reconnected because we are so impressed with what Malone is doing under David King’s leadership. We are pleased to help make it possible with our support.”

“When we look back at our Malone days, the friendships we made, the caring professors, the quality education, the character-building peaks and valleys, the laughter and the memories, it is impossible to put a value on all we received. For us, to be able to play a small part in helping other students have this experience is priceless.”

“We initiated an endowed student scholarship because of our desire to help students achieve a college education and follow the Lord’s leading in their lives.” The Rebstocks established the Endowed Scholarship Fund to assist young women at Malone who are education majors and desire to invest their lives in children. “It is the Lord’s money—we’re just working with it the best we can,” Ray said. “We’re both servants who want to continue to serve.”
