Commencement 2023
Saturday, May 6
To participate in the 2023 Commencement ceremonies or to change a previous registration, please call the Office of the Registrar at 330-471-8128. A schedule of graduation events is provided below.
Tickets will be required to attend the 10 a.m. commencement service with a limit of 5 guests per graduate to attend the service. Limited overflow seating in the JC Dining Room is available for guests that do not have tickets. The commencement services will be available for everyone on Livestream. A ticket code will be sent by email to reserve tickets for the 5 guests for each graduate. Tickets cannot be reserved the day of commencement before the ceremony. Anyone without a ticket for the 10 a.m. service will be seated in the overflow seating. There is no charge to reserve your tickets online. No tickets are required for the 2 p.m. commencement service for the graduate degrees.

Senior Recognition Banquet
Saturday, April 15 | 6 p.m.
Location: Johnson Center, Dining Room
(By Invitation Only) This banquet is hosted by the Provost Office for recognition of outstanding seniors in each major and honor program students. Individuals being recognized will be notified by mail. Reservations required.
Senior Celebration
"Food Trucks & Senior Sweeps"
Friday, April 21 | 5-6:30 p.m.
Location: Johnson Center Lobby
Food trucks (free for graduating seniors), giveaways, yard games, photo area, and more. Information will be emailed to all graduates. Cap and gown can be picked up that day from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. in the JC lobby.
Community Worship Honoring Graduates
Wednesday, April 26 | 10:05-10:45 a.m.
Location: Johnson Center, Worship Center
All full-time traditional undergraduate students are strongly encouraged to participate. Academic attire is NOT required.
Cap and Gown Pick-up
May 1-5 | 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Location: Johnson Center, Alumni Office

An exit interview is REQUIRED prior to picking up your cap and gown. Please complete the exit interview here.
Baccalaureate
Friday, May 5 | 4 p.m.
Location: Johnson Center, Worship Center
Student Check-in/Robing—3 p.m. in JC 105 and 107
Guest seating to begin at 3 p.m.
Baccalaureate is a farewell service of worship for graduates (undergraduate and graduate programs) in celebration of and thanksgiving for lives dedicated to learning and wisdom. No tickets are required. All Malone faculty, staff, and students are welcomed to attend this service as well as family members. Livestream access is available for the ceremony.

All graduates will be recognized during the Commencement ceremonies. Graduate Hooding will be included in the 2 p.m. service.
Academic attire REQUIRED, smart business casual is recommended.
