Malone offers summer intern housing to benefit students, local businesses
Malone University offers affordable, comfortable, and convenient overnight accommodations throughout the summer to those who have been hired seasonally in the Canton- area.
“Even during summer months, Malone wants to serve as a resource to the community,” said Cindy Lundin, events coordinator for the University. “Many local businesses hire seasonal, young talent, but securing short-term housing can be difficult. Malone is ready to partner with business owners by utilizing residence hall space that would otherwise be vacant during summer months.”
Malone has air conditioned residence halls (suite-style with semi-private restroom facility) as well as non-air conditioned residence halls (traditional-style housing with community restrooms). Each room consists of a twin bed, desk, chair, dresser, and closet. All residence hall housing has free wireless internet, cable, laundry facilities, and parking.
Summer 2018 long-term housing rates (all rates are per person):
- Air conditioned residence hall (single sleeping room) with semi-private restroom: $125/week
- Non-air conditioned residence hall (single sleeping room) with community restroom: $105/week
