Malone University recently received praise from the respected college search website www.collegechoice.net as a “Best College in Ohio.” Ranked #25, Malone was the only Stark County liberal arts institution to be included in the list.

The metrics for this ranking were determined by student success, institutional retention, affordability, and reputation.

Additionally, Malone’s online social work program was not only ranked #5 on the “10 Best Online BSW Degrees and Programs for 2020” list by www.bestonlinesocialwork.com, but also ranked #12 by www.bachelorsdegreecenter.org. Malone is the only institution from Ohio to be featured on either list.

The metrics for the fifth place ranking were determined by how an institution advertises, how they serve adult learners, and how they are academically-structured to serve students studying at a distance. The metrics for the twelfth place ranking were determined by tuition cost, student satisfaction, and alumni salary.

Malone’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program was also recently recognized as #2 out of 15 by nursingprocess.org for their best nursing programs in the Midwest list. The metrics behind this ranking were determined by NCLEX-RN pass rates, academic quality, the nursing school’s reputation, and affordability.

“Third party endorsements are important as they frequently shape the perception of an institution’s value," said David King, president. “Malone has consistently appeared in reputable rankings due to the strength of our academic programs, the quality of our faculty, and the outcomes that are made possible to our alumni with a Malone degree.”

Malone’s online bachelor of social work is offered in a fully-digital format with a rigorous curriculum (founded in biblical principles) that gives students the training they need to become ethically minded professionals in a career dedicated to human services. Malone's BSN program has a 100% legacy: 100% of 2018 and 2019 nursing graduates passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) on their first try; 100% of job-seeking graduates are employed within 6 months of graduation. These are only two of many Malone programs to choose from which will prepare graduates for a lifetime of service to the church, community, and world.
