Malone University School of Education to host Teacher's V.O.I.C.E. Conference March 15
"Restorative Approaches in the Classroom"
The School of Education and Human Development at Malone University invites prospective educators, educators, and administrators to participate in the second annual Teacher’s V.O.I.C.E. Conference on Thursday, March 15. Conference and research poster sessions will address and support the challenges and opportunities in education for teachers and administrators who desire for their faith to be at the center of their classroom. The School of Education will release a new edition of The V.O.I.C.E. to correspond with the conference, a journal which seeks to support educators at all levels with scholarly and experientially-based practices and recommendations related to different contexts of the P-16 setting (http://voicejournal.malone.edu/).
“This conference will focus on the restorative approach to teaching and learning in the classroom, which is a timely topic in the state of Ohio and the nation,” said Roger N. Morris, assistant professor of education at Malone University.
Keynote speakers Michael Black and Nikki Cebula, administrators at Youtz Leadership School in Canton, will focus will be on “Restorative Approaches in the Classroom.” A research poster session will showcase current research by various undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty.
