Find your purposeful and meaningful career in educating high school students in language and storytelling
Become a member of two supportive learning communities on campus: in the English department through shared student spaces, events, and optimal class sizes, and in the Education department, which is dedicated to preparing teachers of integrity. Become a teacher through educational experiences that begin in your first year of college, driven by professors with doctorate degrees and lifetimes of teaching experience. Turn your love of language and students into a challenging and rewarding career of service that shapes the future leaders of your community.
The School of Education is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), the standard of excellence in teacher pedagogy.
