Admissions Scholarship Competitions

All admissions scholarship competitions are designed for high school seniors who have applied and been accepted to Malone. A student can only compete in one of the competitions, even if they qualify for more than one.

Scholars’ Day Scholarship / President’s Scholarship (January 21, 2023)

Students who meet one of the requirements listed below will be invited to Malone’s Scholars’ Day competition.

  • 3.8+ GPA  with no test scores
  • 3.6+ GPA and either a 26+ ACT, 1240+ SAT, or 81+ CLT

Two students will be awarded a full-tuition President’s Scholarship. Multiple $1,000 scholarships will also be awarded to students who continue to participate in the honors program. Scholarship winners will participate in the Honors Program for special classes, honors housing options and social activities.

To participate, students must have applied and been accepted no later than January 2.

Malone Serves (February 11, 2023)

Students who care deeply about service, volunteerism, and giving back to their community will be invited to this event. Required GPA of 3.0 or above to participate. One winner will be awarded a renewable full-tuition scholarship, and several participants will be awarded $1,000 renewable scholarships (with continued participation). All recipients will participate in service opportunities throughout the school year. 

To participate, students must  have applied and been accepted no later than January 23.

Leadership Malone (March 18, 2023)

Students who have a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion can attend this scholarship competition where they will put their ideas into conversation with other future students who share their passion. Required GPA of 2.75 or above to participate. One winner will be awarded a renewable full-tuition scholarship, and several participants will be awarded $1,000 renewable scholarships (with continued participation). All recipients will receive mentoring in campus leadership through the Office of Multicultural Services. 

To participate, students must have applied and been accepted no later than February 1.
