Adjunct Faculty: Digital Illustration

About the positions:

ART 423 - Digital Illustration: The study and practice of digital illustration techniques as they apply to creating illustrations for use in a variety of markets and illustration genres. Traditional art techniques will also be integrated into projects at a variety of levels. Drawing and composition are important in visual storytelling and considerable time will be devoted to the conceptual process. Projects will introduce students to a variety of commercial applications for illustration in both static and motion-based formats. Projects will apply traditional artistic design principles and aesthetics to design problems

Qualifications:

• Master in Fine Arts degree or a related field is preferred
• Strong commitment to general teaching excellence and academic rigor
• Subject-specific teaching experience desired
• Commitment to the Christian faith and the integration of faith and learning in the academic discipline
