Each year the School of Education & Human Development surveys its recent graduates and the employers of these graduates. Information regarding the 2015-2016 graduates is found below.
Alumni feedback
More than 80 percent of alumni in the 2015-2016 cohort report that as a graduate of the Malone Teacher Education Program, they felt either adequately or very well prepared to:
- Inform educational practice with a worldview based on integrity, compassion, and service.
- Apply sound principles of teaching, learning, and advocacy.
- Demonstrate competence in the process of planning developmentally appropriate educational experiences.
- Exhibit effective techniques which promote learning for all students regardless of race, culture, gender, creed, or ability.
- Use organizational and behavioral management strategies that create an educational environment conducive to effective learning and growth.
- Display professionalism and take ownership of professional growth.
